Using Match Maker

Match Maker is a dating app where people create their own dating profile and may invite trusted friends or family to help review potential matches. By using Match Maker, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a dating profile or use dating features. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for activity on your account and for inviting only trusted matchers. You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive purposes, or use Match Maker to mislead, harass, or harm others.

SMS Verification Terms

Program name: Match Maker verification messages. Match Maker may send one-time SMS verification codes for account signup, login, authentication, and phone-number verification when you request them in the app by entering your mobile number and tapping Continue.

By tapping Continue on the phone verification screen, you agree to receive one-time SMS verification codes from Match Maker at the mobile number provided. SMS consent is used only for verification and is not shared for marketing.

Message frequency varies based on how often you request verification codes. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive verification texts is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Match Maker does not send marketing or promotional SMS under this verification program.

To stop SMS messages, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact Match Maker through the contact page. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable Use

Do not harass, threaten, shame, stalk, discriminate against, or pressure others. Do not impersonate people, use fake or misleading photos, send spam or promotions, request money, gift cards, crypto, financial information, or private identity details, upload illegal content, attempt to bypass safety or security systems, scrape the service, interfere with service operation, or use Match Maker to harm anyone.

Match Maker is for adults 18 and older. Nudity, sexually explicit content, sexual services, prostitution, trafficking, paid adult content, and sexual messaging or solicitation are not allowed in profiles, photos, prompts, messages, reports, or support requests.

Safety and Moderation

Dating profiles must pass profile review before they can appear in discovery. Profile review may include the live camera photo, profile photos, prompts, bio, and other profile text. New or changed profile photos may be held for review or removed if they appear to violate these terms.

Match Maker may use automated filters, user reports, admin review, and manual moderation to identify unsafe or prohibited content in profiles, photos, messages, and other user-submitted content. Match Maker may review reports, restrict accounts, block discovery, remove content, reject profile review, ban accounts, preserve moderation records, notify users, or take other action when we believe it is needed to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, or operate the service.

You can report or block profiles and conversations from the app. We may use report details, reported messages, profile information, and account activity to review safety concerns.

Premium Features and Payments

Match Maker may include premium features for all accounts during launch, and may later offer paid premium features through app-store purchases or subscriptions. If paid premium access is added, failed, cancelled, expired, refunded, or reversed payments may remove paid premium access. Prices, feature limits, renewal timing, cancellation, refunds, and restore flows may depend on the payment provider used at purchase.

Sponsored Content

Discovery may include sponsored cards or advertisements. Sponsored cards are not endorsements of a business or offer. You are responsible for reviewing any third-party site, product, service, privacy policy, or terms before interacting with it.

Account Deletion

You may request account deletion in the app. Some information may be retained when necessary for security, moderation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of Match Maker after an update means you accept the updated terms.
