Child Safety Standards
Last updated June 8, 2026
Adult-only service
Match Maker is intended for adults 18 and older. Minors may not create accounts, create dating profiles, appear in dating profile photos, or use Match Maker dating, matching, messaging, or matcher features.
Zero tolerance for child exploitation
Match Maker prohibits child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual solicitation involving minors, attempts to sexualize minors, or any content or behavior that endangers children. This applies to profiles, photos, prompts, messages, reports, support requests, links, and any other user-submitted content.
Prevention and moderation
Dating profiles must pass review before appearing in discovery. Match Maker may use automated filters, user reports, admin review, account restrictions, content removal, bans, and evidence preservation to prevent and respond to child safety violations.
Reporting in the app
Users can report profiles and conversations in the app. Reports may include relevant profile details, message context, account activity, and moderation information so Match Maker can review and act on the concern. Users can also block other users from the app.
Our response
When Match Maker identifies or receives a credible report of child sexual abuse material or child sexual exploitation, we may remove content, disable accounts, preserve relevant information, and report to appropriate authorities or reporting organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where applicable under United States law.
Contact for child safety concerns
For child safety, CSAE, or CSAM concerns involving Match Maker, contact team@matchmaker.support. Include enough detail for us to identify the account, profile, conversation, or content involved. Do not send illegal content by email; describe where it appears in the app instead.
