Campaign Purpose

Match Maker sends one-time verification codes only for account signup, login, authentication, and phone-number verification. Match Maker does not use this SMS program for marketing or promotional messages.

How Users Opt In

Users opt in inside the Match Maker mobile app during signup, login, or phone-number verification. The user enters their mobile phone number on the phone verification screen and taps Continue to request a one-time SMS code. The phone verification screen states: "By continuing, you agree to receive one-time SMS verification codes from Match Maker at this number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See Terms and Privacy."

The same screen links to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Users receive an SMS only after entering their phone number and requesting a verification code. There are no other opt-in paths, no SMS keyword signup, and no marketing or promotional SMS.

Message Flow for Twilio

The campaign message flow should include the complete app-only opt-in path, the disclosures, and these public proof URLs.

End users opt in only inside the Match Maker mobile app during signup, sign-in by phone, or account phone-number verification. The user chooses the phone-number flow, enters their mobile number on the Match Maker phone verification screen, reviews this disclosure: "By continuing, you agree to receive one-time SMS verification codes from Match Maker at this number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See Terms and Privacy." The screen links to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The user then taps Continue to request a one-time verification code. No SMS is sent unless the user enters a mobile number and taps Continue. There is no web form, paper form, verbal opt-in, purchased list, imported contact list, checkout opt-in, or SMS keyword signup. Match Maker does not send marketing or promotional SMS.
